Who runs this site

SpiceBlendCalculator.com is published by Cedrick Reese under the Ready Utilities brand, in Florida, United States. You can reach us through the contact page.

What the site stores on your device

The calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent anywhere or saved on a server. Two small preferences are saved locally on your own device so the site behaves the way you left it:

• Your theme choice (light or dark), stored as sbc-theme.
• Your salt type, stored as sbc-salt, so the salt calculators stay set to the salt you actually use.

Both live in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and they never leave your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

What the site doesn't collect

• No accounts, logins, or registration
• No purchases, payments, or card details
• No newsletter, email list, SMS, or push notifications
• No Google Analytics, no advertising trackers, and no profile of you
• No selling or sharing of personal information

Messages you send us

If you use the form on the contact page, the name, email address, and message you enter are sent to us by email so we can reply. They're used for that reply and nothing else: no marketing list, no sharing with anyone else. Old message threads are deleted once they're no longer needed.

Server logs

The site is hosted on a standard web host, which keeps routine server logs. These typically record your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. They exist for security and troubleshooting, they're kept for a limited period by the host, and they aren't used to build any profile of you.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site sets no cookies of any kind, and runs no advertising. Google Analytics is not used here and isn't planned.

Traffic measurement

Visitor numbers come from Umami, an open-source analytics tool running on our own server rather than a third party's. Umami is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, collects no personal information, and can't identify you or follow you to another site. It records anonymous, aggregated figures such as page views, the country a visit came from, the type of device and browser, and the site that referred you. Because no personal data is collected, no consent banner is needed for it.

Advertising

Advertising is planned but not yet running. When ads are added, this page will be updated the same day, and the details below will apply:

• Advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. If other ad networks are used, they'll be named here.
• Consent. Before any advertising cookie is set, visitors in regions that require it (including the EU, UK, and Switzerland) will be asked first, through a consent banner. Your choices and rights

Because the site holds almost nothing about you, most requests are simple to answer. You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you, if any
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it

Send the request through the contact page and we'll respond within 45 days, which is the window California's privacy law sets. Nobody is treated differently for making a request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. California residents have rights under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. This site does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there. Visitors in the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and objection, and may complain to their local data protection authority.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it will be treated as a valid opt-out request once advertising is running here.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made quietly.
