SpiceBlendCalculator.com is published by Cedrick Reese under the Ready Utilities brand, in Florida, United States. "We" and "us" below mean the publisher, and "you" means anyone using the site.

Using the site

The calculators and guides are free to use for personal and commercial cooking. You can scale a blend for a restaurant, a market stall, or a catering job without asking permission.

Please don't:

• scrape or bulk-download the site, or use it to train a machine learning model
• copy pages or substantial parts of them onto another site
• attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the site or its host
• present the site's content as your own work

Accuracy of the numbers

Every ratio, conversion, and base recipe on this site names the source it came from, right beside the numbers, and each one is checked against that source before it goes up. Even so, sources revise their own pages, product labels change, and brands differ from one another. Figures here are guidance for cooking, not guarantees.

Gram weights come from USDA FoodData Central where USDA lists the exact form of an ingredient. Where it doesn't, the page says grams aren't available rather than estimating. Weights taken from a brand's nutrition label are rounded by that label, so they're close rather than exact.

If a number here looks wrong, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections are made on the page itself.

Food safety and health

Nothing on this site is medical, dietary, or food safety advice. Pages that touch on special diets, allergies, or salt intake are about flavor. If a diet is managing a health condition or an allergy, follow the guidance you've been given by a doctor or dietitian.

For cooking temperatures and safe food handling, follow USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service guidance. You're responsible for the food you cook and serve.

Recipes and attribution

Blend calculators scale a base recipe published by someone else. Those recipes belong to their publishers, are credited on each page with an "Adapted from" link, and are used as a starting point for scaling, not republished as ours. If you publish a blend you scaled here, credit the original publisher.

Our own content

The calculators, written guides, and page design are ours. You're welcome to link to any page. For anything beyond linking and normal personal use, ask first through the contact page.
